First Aid
Hands Only CPR
Free online training course: first aid CPR AED
Each year millions of people worldwide suffer from sudden cardiac arrest. The survival rate could be increased 2 - 3 times by using so-called cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), commonly known as chest compressions and rescue breaths. Unfortunately, first aid is performed for 1 of 5 cardiac arrests. Why? The main problem is lack of knowledge in the society about the proper first aid.
To acquire the proper skills, it’s necessary to take part in a dedicated first aid course. However, not everyone has the time or opportunity. Hence, a good solution is to learn the principles of first aid through educational online training. An example might be a CPR first aid online game available at: https://www.szkolenia-bhp24.pl/first-aid-online-game
The game is based on the European Resuscitation Council recommendations on the correct first aid in case of sudden cardiac arrest. A player with a series of simple exercises can trace step by step how to properly assess the condition of the victim, and give him first aid performing chest compressions, rescue breathing, and using the Automated External Defibrillator (AED). The player can also choose “hands only CPR” version and follow the simplified algorithm of resuscitation.
Each of us can find ourselves in a situation with someone who suffers a cardiac arrest. So play the game, test your knowledge and, if necessary, seek a first aid course to enhance your skills.
